The Northwest Florida Fair serves as Cantonment's premier annual celebration, featuring livestock competitions where local 4-H and FFA students showcase prize-winning cattle, pigs, and horses during week-long festivities each October. The Escambia County Rodeo draws professional cowboys and cowgirls to compete in bull riding, barrel racing, and team roping events, while spectators enjoy authentic barbecue and live country music performances. Cantonment's Christmas parade winds through downtown streets each December, featuring decorated floats from local businesses, marching bands from area high schools, and appearances by Santa Claus that delight children lining the sidewalks. Monthly livestock auctions at the fairgrounds provide essential commerce for area ranchers and farmers, creating opportunities for buying and selling cattle, goats, and horses.
