7' x 14' 14, 000lb GVWR Dump Trailer

$225.00/per day
14,000lbs GVWR hydraulic dump trailer. 10,000lbs payload/hauling/dump capacity. Suitable for dumping and hauling all kinds of materials, and moving equipment such as excavators, skid steers, etc. Has 8,000lb loading ramps. Newer model (Dec. 2025). Electric brakes on all axles. NO EXCEPTIONS: Trailer will not be released without a verified, functioning brake controller at pickup. This is a safety requirement and is not negotiable. Functionality will be verified via a brake test at the time of handoff. BC law limits Class 4, 5, and 7 (novice) license holders to towing trailer weight of 4,600 kg (total trailer and load). For towing above 4,600 kg, a Code 20 (heavy trailer endorsement) or Class 1–3 license is required. Renter is responsible for ensuring compliance with BC licensing and vehicle rating requirements. Note regarding licensing limits: 4,600 kg GVW is approximately 10,141lbs total combined weight of trailer and load. This trailer weighs approximately 4,000lbs empty, leaving roughly 6,000lbs of available payload within Class 4, 5, or 7 (novice) license limits. To tow above 4,600 kg, BC requires either a Class 1–3 license or a Class 4/5 license with a Code 20 (heavy trailer) endorsement for non-air-brake trailers. Renter is responsible for ensuring they meet all BC licensing and vehicle rating requirements. During pickup or delivery, I will go over all the functions of the trailer with you so that we are both confident you will have a safe and productive rental!

Port Moody, located at the eastern end of Burrard Inlet and nestled between Burnaby and Coquitlam, is often referred to as the "City of the Arts" — but it could just as easily be called the "City of Adventure."

Explore Port Moody!

Adventure

Adventure

This picturesque coastal city offers a perfect blend of urban access and outdoor thrills. One of its crown jewels is Rocky Point Park, where locals and visitors alike gather for kayaking, paddleboarding, and sailing in the sheltered waters of the inlet. A network of trails, including the Shoreline Trail, winds along the water's edge and through forested groves, providing ideal routes for running, walking, and cycling. Just minutes away, Belcarra Regional Park and Buntzen Lake offer deeper wilderness experiences. Buntzen, in particular, is popular for its forest-lined beach, dog-friendly areas, and rigorous hiking trails like Diez Vistas, which delivers sweeping views of Indian Arm and the surrounding mountains. Port Moody’s location also makes it a perfect jump-off point for more rugged mountain activities like snowshoeing and backcountry hikes into the Eagle Mountain and Burke Mountain areas. The city manages to pack dense adventure potential within a compact, community-oriented environment, offering the best of both British Columbia’s urban and wild worlds.

Wildlife

Despite its proximity to Metro Vancouver, Port Moody retains a surprising amount of biodiversity, thanks to its location at the confluence of forest, ocean, and freshwater ecosystems. The inlet itself is home to seals, herons, cormorants, and even the occasional sea otter, while bald eagles frequently soar above tree-lined bluffs. Birdwatchers are drawn to the mudflats near Rocky Point Park and the forests of Bert Flinn Park, where they might spot northern flickers, barred owls, or even nesting osprey. Inland, the wooded trails and parklands host black-tailed deer, raccoons, and the occasional black bear or coyote—especially in spring and early summer. Amphibians like red-legged frogs and long-toed salamanders are often seen in the wetlands of Noons Creek, an area also known for its salmon enhancement projects. Every autumn, residents can witness the annual salmon run up Noons and Suter Brooks Creeks—an event that speaks volumes about the city’s commitment to environmental stewardship. The Port Moody Ecological Society, alongside other local groups, engages in habitat restoration and educational outreach, ensuring that the city’s natural treasures are not only preserved but celebrated. In Port Moody, it’s entirely possible to spot an eagle on your morning commute or a deer grazing at dusk, blending the boundaries between urban life and wilderness.

Car Culture

Car Culture

Though it doesn’t host a major racetrack like Mission, Port Moody’s love for cars is very much alive in the form of community-driven car meets, classic cruises, and collector clubs. The city is known for its Golden Spike Days Festival, held annually in Rocky Point Park, which sometimes features a classic car segment alongside its cultural celebrations. Local enthusiasts also take part in the Port Coquitlam Car Show and events in neighboring communities like Coquitlam and Burnaby, just a few minutes away. These gatherings highlight vintage vehicles, muscle cars, hot rods, and modified imports, drawing a diverse crowd of spectators and collectors. Inlet Centre, with its wide, accessible streets and scenic backdrop, has become a favored location for informal car meetups—especially on summer evenings. Car clubs like the Greater Vancouver Car Club and various Mustang or JDM-specific groups often schedule Port Moody as a scenic stop during their cruises through the Tri-Cities. Meanwhile, nearby indoor detailing and performance shops have turned the city into a quiet hub for those who value customization and restoration. Although Port Moody doesn’t have the drag racing prestige of Mission or the massive rallies of Kelowna, its car culture is passionate, highly visual, and deeply integrated into the community. Here, car pride manifests not just in horsepower, but in storytelling—each vehicle a moving expression of its owner’s journey.
