7' x 14' 14, 000lb GVWR Dump Trailer

$225.00/per day
14,000lbs GVWR hydraulic dump trailer. 10,000lbs payload/hauling/dump capacity. Suitable for dumping and hauling all kinds of materials, and moving equipment such as excavators, skid steers, etc. Has 8,000lb loading ramps. Newer model (Dec. 2025). Electric brakes on all axles. NO EXCEPTIONS: Trailer will not be released without a verified, functioning brake controller at pickup. This is a safety requirement and is not negotiable. Functionality will be verified via a brake test at the time of handoff. BC law limits Class 4, 5, and 7 (novice) license holders to towing trailer weight of 4,600 kg (total trailer and load). For towing above 4,600 kg, a Code 20 (heavy trailer endorsement) or Class 1–3 license is required. Renter is responsible for ensuring compliance with BC licensing and vehicle rating requirements. Note regarding licensing limits: 4,600 kg GVW is approximately 10,141lbs total combined weight of trailer and load. This trailer weighs approximately 4,000lbs empty, leaving roughly 6,000lbs of available payload within Class 4, 5, or 7 (novice) license limits. To tow above 4,600 kg, BC requires either a Class 1–3 license or a Class 4/5 license with a Code 20 (heavy trailer) endorsement for non-air-brake trailers. Renter is responsible for ensuring they meet all BC licensing and vehicle rating requirements. During pickup or delivery, I will go over all the functions of the trailer with you so that we are both confident you will have a safe and productive rental!

New Westminster, often dubbed the “Royal City,” sits proudly along the Fraser River, offering a distinct blend of urban convenience and outdoor excitement.

Explore New Westminster!

Adventure

Adventure

While not surrounded by mountainous terrain like some parts of British Columbia, New Westminster capitalizes on its riverside setting to deliver one-of-a-kind urban adventure experiences. The Fraser River Discovery Centre is a launching point for eco-tours and kayaking trips, where paddlers can explore the river's historic channels and active waterfront. This is one of the few cities in BC where industrial heritage and natural exploration seamlessly coexist. For those who prefer land-based adventure, the New Westminster Quay Boardwalk is a scenic trail that stretches along the riverfront, perfect for cycling, running, or leisurely walks with views of tugboats, bridges, and floating homes. Adventurers often explore Queens Park, a sprawling green space with forested walking trails, rose gardens, and sports facilities. This park transforms in the warmer months with festivals, outdoor fitness classes, and live performances. Those looking for aerial excitement can venture a bit further to try zip-lining or rock climbing in nearby Coquitlam and Burnaby, both within a short drive. New Westminster’s strategic location between Vancouver and the Fraser Valley allows easy access to more rugged BC adventures like mountain biking on Burnaby Mountain or paddleboarding on Buntzen Lake. With SkyTrain access, riverside parks, and a strong connection to heritage and culture, New Westminster offers an unconventional yet fulfilling adventure experience grounded in both city life and BC’s natural richness.

Wildlife

Despite being a dense urban hub, New Westminster is intricately connected to the natural ecosystems of British Columbia, thanks in large part to the Fraser River, which serves as both a transportation artery and a wildlife corridor. The riverbanks and wetlands here are home to a surprising variety of animal species, making the city an accessible entry point into BC’s rich wildlife tapestry. Residents and visitors often report sightings of harbor seals near the Quayside Pier, drawn in by the abundant fish population. The river also supports seasonal migrations of Pacific salmon, which in turn attract bald eagles, great blue herons, and ospreys—all commonly seen overhead or perched near the water. The Sapperton Landing Park and Port Royal Riverfront Walk are excellent locations for birdwatching, as they provide uninterrupted access to naturalized shoreline areas. These zones are designed with native vegetation that encourages biodiversity while filtering runoff into the river. Community groups in New Westminster frequently participate in shoreline cleanups and invasive plant removal, reinforcing the city’s environmental values. Additionally, the city collaborates with Metro Vancouver to maintain riparian buffers and manage green spaces like Moody Park, which act as urban wildlife refuges. While it may not offer wilderness on the scale of BC’s alpine regions, New Westminster’s ecological importance lies in its role as a steward of the Fraser River’s health. It exemplifies how urban planning and environmental protection can go hand in hand, keeping the spirit of BC’s wild places alive within city limits.

Car Culture

Car Culture

New Westminster has a long-standing connection with British Columbia’s car culture, blending historic nostalgia with a modern twist. The city’s grid of classic streetscapes—some still featuring cobblestone inlays—has made it a picturesque setting for vintage car meetups, film shoots, and weekend cruises. One of the most anticipated events in the region is the Royal City Show & Shine, held annually along Columbia Street in the historic downtown core. Hundreds of collectors and car aficionados gather to showcase restored hot rods, lowriders, and classic British and American cars. The street transforms into a living museum of automotive history, with live rockabilly music, food trucks, and local vendors contributing to the festival vibe. Car enthusiasts in New Westminster are often part of larger regional networks, attending nearby shows in Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver, while maintaining strong roots in their home city. The New West Cruisers, an informal yet active group of classic car owners, hosts regular meetups and "cars and coffee" mornings at local parking lots and cafés. Additionally, the city's proximity to the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s (BCIT) Automotive Campus allows for collaboration and engagement with younger generations passionate about mechanics and custom builds. While New Westminster may not have a dedicated race track, its streets echo with the legacy of BC’s rich car history—from 1950s tailfins to modern tuner imports. It’s a city where car culture is not just about speed or performance, but about identity, craft, and community pride, rooted deeply in the lifestyle of the province.
