What happens if I cause damage to the trailer?
You are responsible for any damage that occurs to the trailer while it is in your possession during the rental period.
NT Protect coverage may apply to eligible damages subject to the terms of the protection plan.
After the trailer is returned, the owner may submit a Deposit Deduction Request with supporting documentation, including before-and-after photos. The Neighbors Trailer team will review the request and determine the appropriate amount, if any, to be deducted from your deposit. Any remaining portion of your deposit will be refunded.
If the damage exceeds $500, a formal damage request process may be required.
We recommend documenting the trailer’s condition at both pickup and return to help prevent misunderstandings.
