Is the Damage Waiver free for trailer owners?
Yes. The Damage Waiver is paid for by the renter at the time of booking.
Trailer owners are not charged for the Damage Waiver. The fee is included in the renter’s total at checkout when applicable.
Important: Renter Responsibility Amount
Each Incident where the Damage Waiver applies is subject to a Renter Responsibility Amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00). The Renter Responsibility Amount is taken from the deposit, not charged in addition to it.
If a remaining balance cannot be collected after reasonable collection efforts, the uncollected amount becomes the Owner's responsibility. That amount is deducted from NT Protect's reimbursement to the Owner. See Section 39.5 of the Terms.
