How can I issue a partial refund to a renter?
Partial refunds may be issued if authorized by the trailer owner and must follow platform policy.
When Can a Partial Refund Be Issued?
- The trailer owner must approve the refund.
- The refund must be processed before the rental is ended in the system.
- Refunds are issued directly from the owner’s account through the booking page.
Important Limitations
- Booking fees, taxes, and Protection Package fees are non-refundable.
- The maximum refundable amount will not exceed 75% of the rental amount.
- If a refund is processed manually after the rental has been ended, a $25 refund processing fee will be deducted from the renter’s refundable amount.
How to Issue a Partial Refund
- Open the booking details page.
- Select the refund option (if available).
- Enter the approved refund amount.
- Confirm and submit the refund before ending the rental.
