How Can I Cancel a Booking?
Open the booking and choose Cancel booking. You'll be asked who was responsible, and you'll see the outcome before you confirm.
- You're cancelling: a fee of 30% of the rental amount comes out of your next payout. Your card isn't charged. The renter gets a full refund.
- The renter asked to cancel: the renter is notified and has 24 hours to approve or dispute. If they don't respond, it counts as approved. The renter's refund then follows the cancellation policy.
- Both of you agreed: Neighbors Trailer reviews the cancellation and decides the outcome.
Unpaid fees: if a previous cancellation fee is still unpaid, you'll need to pay the outstanding balance before you can cancel another booking.
Owners must complete at least 70% of accepted bookings each quarter to stay active. Cancellations must be made before the rental is marked On Rent. See the Booking Cancellation by Owner policy, Section 36 of our Terms of Use.
